5. Cheers, 1982-1993
Cheers has been probably the sitcom most famous of all the time. Produced by NBC went on air from September 30, 1982, to May 20, 1993 for a total of 11 seasons and 275 episodes. All the characters became iconic and many of them got their own spin-off series that, like Fraiser, could break this top 5 on their own.
4. Game of Thrones, 2011-today
Game of Thrones was planned by HBO to become a huge success, but probably even HBO itself couldn’t imagine this degree of success. The Fantasy drama has reached 11 seasons and a huge production budget almost second to none and it seems it won’t stop any sooner.
3. The Big Bang Theory, 2007-today
After killing it with Two and a half men Chuck Lorre made it again, and better! In 2007 The Big Bang Theory hit the TV screens thanks to Warner Bros Television talking about four nerdy guys sharing their loft with a hot girl coming from a totally different background. The rest is history and the show reached 12 seasons so far for a total of 279 episodes.
2. Friends, 1994-2004
Three guys and three girls in the same apartment complex facing the New York daily life … apparently nothing crazy but in the 90s this show exploded becoming back in time the most watched and known TV show ever. All the actors became very popular during and after that friends was on air and across the 10 seasons and 236 episodes the vibe around this show went always up and up. The title song I’ll be there for you became also a hit and became an iconic song of the 90s.

I guess everyone of you knew already which series was on the highest spot of the Top 5 most beloved TV series of all time: Breaking Bad is not just the most iconic TV show ever, but it had and still have a huge impact in the popular culture. The show aired for 5 seasons for a total of 62 episodes, had a very well acclaimed spin off (Better Call Saul) and soon Sony announced a new Breaking Bad story: El Camino.
